Kurnool: Social welfare minister Dr Dola Sri Veera Anjaneya Swamy criticised the lack of basic resources, such as bleaching powder, under the previous YSRC regime. He emphasised that the alliance government aims to implement development initiatives in villages within six months.

Participating in the ‘Clean Prakasam – Green Prakasam’ programme in Surareddypalem, alongside Collector A Thameem Ansaria, the minister highlighted efforts to improve cleanliness and greenery in rural areas.
At a revenue meeting in Podili, Minister Swamy discussed swift resolution of revenue issues. He addressed land irregularities involving 706 acres in Podili mandal and issues with Venugopalan Swamy lands in Survey No. 251.
The minister directed officials to resolve these issues promptly and ensure temple lands are allocated to BCs. Additionally, he suggested constructing structures such as Kalyana Mandapams on temple lands to generate income.
Markapuram MLA Kandula Narayana Reddy commended the government’s initiative and urged citizens to utilise the revenue conferences. Joint Collector Ronanki Gopala Krishna also attended.
