VIMS to set up CBRN medical centre in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam will soon house a cutting-edge Secondary Level Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Medical Management Centre, following approval from the central government. The facility, located within the VIMS campus, aims to provide immediate medical treatment for industrial accident victims. VIMS Director Dr. K. Rambabu announced that the state health department has granted approval for the center, which will offer specialized care for fire-related and other hazardous accidents.
