Visakhapatnam: Former minister Gudivada Amarnath on Saturday expressed concern about increasing attacks on YSRC leaders and their properties following formation of the TD-led NDA alliance government.
He linked these incidents to minister Nara Lokesh, who, as opposition leader, used to wave a Redbook saying it has all information of those committing wrongs under the YSRC government.
In this regard, Amarnath highlighted the demolition of YSRC party’s structure in Tadepalli. He referred to issuance of notices to YSRC Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli offices, which demonstrate a partisan stance.
The former minister wondered why violations, which had not been noticed by authorities until yesterday, are being seen today. “Our party office is our temple. We will protect it legally,” he remarked.
Amarnath said TD’s Red Book Constitution, a pivotal document of the TD-led alliance government, is replacing Ambedkar’s constitution in Andhra Pradesh.
He went on to say that the alliance's honeymoon will last for six months. After that, the true nature of the government will be revealed.
