Visakhapatnam: Vizag district collector M. N. Harendhira Prasad has stated that around seven per cent of the district’s public grievance redressal platform (PGRS) applications are being re-evaluated due to inadequate responses and incomplete submissions from the authorities. He has directed district officials to address the concerns raised by petitioners at the PGRS and take appropriate action.
The PGRS programme, initiated following the announcement of the Legislative Council of Local Bodies’ by-election results, commenced at the collectorate on Monday and received 142 complaint petitions. During the programme, the collector emphasised the importance of officials promptly providing effective solutions for complaints. It was further emphasised that officials should review the requests received through PGRS daily and strive to address at least two requests.
