Vizag: Teen held for sexually assaulting 4-year-old girl

Visakhapatnam, July 1
A 19-year-old teenager was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in the Madhurwada of Visakhapatnam. The assault took place on Sunday afternoon when the victim's parents, daily wage workers, were not at home.
According to Disha Police Commissioner Vivekananda, the accused Tarun is a neighbour of the victim's family and took advantage of the situation to sexually assault the minor girl when no one was around. The victim later informed her mother about the incident, and her parents immediately filed a complaint at the PM Palem police station.
The case was transferred to the Disha police station, and a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered against the accused.
