Worker electrocuted in Markapuram

Kurnool:A worker was electrocuted while working at the house of Dr. Adimulapu Satish, brother of former minister and YSRCP leader Dr Adimulapu Suresh at Chenna Kesava Nagar in Markapuram on Wednesday. According to the Sub-Inspector of Markapuram One Town, M. Saidubabu, the deceased, Bandaru Venkata Rao, 21, from Gajulapalli village, had been working locally as a construction labourer.

While preparing a lift system to transport materials from the ground to the upper floors, he accidentally came into contact with a live power cable in front of the house and fell to the ground. Despite efforts by fellow labourers to take him to Ongole for better treatment, he died en route. The Sub-Inspector mentioned that no formal complaint has been received as of yet.
