Visakhapatnam: On the World Day Against Child Labour, the Andhra Pradesh State Child Rights Commission (APSCRC) spearheaded a powerful rally in Vizianagaram. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of education for children and the dangers of child labour.

APSCRC chairman Apparao delivered a strong message, emphasising that exploiting children for work is illegal and a violation of government regulations. He warned of hefty fines and strict departmental action against those who continue this practice.
Apparao announced an ambitious plan to eradicate child labour entirely from Andhra Pradesh by December 25. The initiative will involve comprehensive awareness programmes at all levels, from villages to districts. Additionally, district-level task force committees across all 26 districts will be formed for continuous monitoring and enforcement.
