Yogi Adityanath invites CM Naidu to Maha Kumbh Mela

Vijayawada: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj, scheduled from 13 January to 26 February 2025.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and BJP AP Affairs in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh personally handed over the invitation in Vijayawada. They assured support for cultural teams and representatives from Andhra Pradesh attending the event.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, is expected to attract over 450 million pilgrims. Extensive preparations under Adityanath's leadership include banning single-use plastics, planting three lakh trees, deploying specialist doctors, and utilising advanced technologies like AI chatbots, drone surveillance, and RFID wristbands for smooth management.
Maurya also invited AP residents to participate, promising a safe, eco-friendly, and memorable experience.
