Youth brutally murdered in Srisailam

Kurnool: In a shocking incident, 28-year-old Avula Ashok was murdered in Srisailam on Sunday morning. Two intoxicated individuals reportedly slit his throat. Ashok, originally from Markapuram in Prakasam district, had relocated to Srisailam for work. Despite being rushed to Sunnipenta Government Hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival.

Authorities suspect that the assailants, known for providing ‘bottu’ services to devotees, were under the influence during the attack. A case has been filed, and an investigation is underway.
