Y.S. Abhishek Reddy’s Last Rites at Pulivendula

Anantapur: Former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s close relative and YSRC state medical and health wing secretary Dr Y.S. Abhishek Reddy has died of dengue fever at Hyderabad on Friday and his mortal remains were shifted to Pulivendula in Kadapa district on Saturday. Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with his wife Bharathi, rushed to Pulivendula and led final rights of Abhishek Reddy.

Abhishek Reddy, who was living at Vizag, had shifted to his home town Pulivendula to be a full time active politician and also led Lingala mandal as party incharge.

Abhishek Reddy is the grandson of Y.S. Prakash Reddy. He has been YSRC medical and health wing secretary for the past two years. He reportedly fell sick due to dengue fever and slipped into coma few days ago. He was treated at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He died on Friday and family members shifted his body to Pulivendula. His body was also kept at YSRC office for the party workers to pay homage to the leader.

Pulivendula TD incharge B.Tech Ravi also paid tributes and consoled the family members of Dr Abhishek Reddy. He is survived by wife and two children. His body was taken out procession in Pulivendula and performed final rights at burial ground where other late YS family members’ graves are laid.
