YSRC senior leader Alla Nani set to join TD tomorrow

Former Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani had quit the Congress after his defeat in the recently held Assembly elections. Later, he said he would remain distant from active politics for some time.

According to sources, Nani is likely to join the TD on Wednesday. He is joining the party in the presence of party national president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu naidu in Amaravati. Information about his joining the TD has been passed to the party activists in Eluru.

However, his entry into the TD is being severely opposed by the party leaders and activists.

TD MLA Badeti Chanti said that he would take up the issue with the party leadership but soon added that he would honour the party seniors' decision in this regard.

Alla Nani is a senior leader and his exit from the YSRC would be a severe blow to the party in Eluru region.
