AP: AC Mechanic, 3 Others Arrested, Rice-pulling Coin Seized

Vijayawada: The II Town police on Tuesday apprehended a 39-year-old air conditioning mechanic and three other individuals in YSR Colony, Jakkampudi. They were found to possess a rice-pulling coin, which was confiscated during the arrest. The primary suspect has been identified as Akana Rajesh, a resident of YSR Colony.

II Town circle inspector China Kondala Rao reported that Rajesh, an AC mechanic, had recently learned to create rice-pulling devices. He, along with his three associates, was attempting to sell a rice-pulling coin when they were caught.

Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, II Town sub-inspector, while patrolling YSR Colony, noticed four individuals moving suspiciously. Upon investigation, they discovered the rice-pulling coin and subsequently made the arrests. A case has been filed and is being probed.
