Adilabad: In the wake of news about potential defections to the Congress, BRS MLAs Kova Laxmi and Anil Jadhav, former minister Jogu Ramanna, and former MLA Atram Sakku met BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao to show their loyalty. MLC Dande Vittal and defeated MLA Jonson Naik also recently met with Chandrasekhar Rao.

Despite these displays of loyalty, the party's high command is closely monitoring the movements of BRS MLAs and senior leaders. Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly called these leaders to meet him personally.

BRS secured Asifabad and Boath seats in the last elections, with Kova Laxmi and Anil Jadhav elected from these constituencies. Atram Sakku, who contested in the Adilabad Parliament elections, was defeated.

Interestingly, second-rung BRS leaders are now meeting KCR more frequently in the changed political scenario, unlike in the past. These leaders are seeking KCR’s blessings ahead of local body elections.
