Chennai cop arrested for drinking while escorting prisoners

A police constable from Chennai, identified as Sabari, was caught on video drinking and engaging in a quarrel while escorting prisoners.

The incident occurred when Sabari was seen arguing with railway police at the Chennai Central Railway Station, where he was detained. Despite being visibly intoxicated, Sabari continued to argue and act aggressively, even trying to provoke a fight with officers.

This behavior led to his arrest and departmental action is now being pursued by the authorities​.
