Vijayawada: Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur lauded the services of High Court Judge Justice A.V. Sesha Sai on the eve of his superannuation, at a programme held in the High Court on Friday.

The CJ praised the retiring judge for resolving nearly 23,000 cases in his career and working in almost all wings in the judiciary. He appreciated the judge's dedication while working as the executive vice chairman of AP Legal Services Authority and mentioned that the judge had provided skill training to the staff of national banks, besides carrying out training programmes in the central jails in Visakhapatnam and Rajamahendravaram. Justice Thakur also highlighted the judge's efforts in providing legal awareness to students from several law universities and colleges. He wished the judge a healthy and peaceful life ahead.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice A.V. Sesha Sai thanked the present Chief Justice, previous CJs, judges, and advocates, as well as the staff members, for their support throughout his career.

Public prosecutor Y. Nagi Reddy commended the services of the retiring judge by saying that he played a very active role on issues pertaining to civil and criminal laws.
