HYDRAA Pledges to Preserve Uppal Nallacheruvu, Remove Encroachments

Hyderabad: HYDRAA commissioner A.V. Ranganath on Tuesday said that encroachments in Uppal Nallacheruvu, or any other lake, shall not be tolerated. Speaking to the media while inspecting the Nallacheruvu, he said that a special plan had been prepared for the monitoring of the lake.

Inspecting the lake along with Congress MLC Teenmaar Mallanna and Uppal corporator Rajitha Parameshwar Reddy. Ranganath said that the HYDRAA would work for the conservation of the pond along with removal of encroachments.

Meanwhile, HYDRAA requested Telangana DGP Dr Jitender to draft officials from police for the new authority, an IPS cadre superintendent of police, three non-cadre SPs, five deputy SPs, 21 inspectors, 33 sub-inspectors, five reserve inspectors, 12 reserve sub-inspectors, 101 constables, 72 home guards, three each of analytical officers and assistant analytical officers.
