Kuwait Tragedy: Priyank Kharge Ensures Repatriation of Kalaburgi Worker's Body

A taluk health officer and a CPI are being dispatched to Kochi from Kalaburagi to facilitate the transfer

Kalaburagi: Expressing grief over the death of Vijaykumar (42), a native of Sarasamba village in Aland taluk of Kalaburagi district, in the fire accident in Kuwait, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and Kalaburagi district in-charge Priyank Kharge announced that arrangements are underway to bring the mortal remains back to his native village.

In a press statement, Minister Kharge expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the fire.
"Praying for his soul to rest in peace, I offer my condolences to his family," Kharge stated.
He assured that the state government stands with Vijaykumar's family during this difficult time and emphasized his ongoing communication with the relevant authorities and the Kalaburagi district Deputy Commissioner to ensure the timely repatriation of the deceased's mortal remains to India.
A taluk health officer and a CPI (Circle Police Inspector) are being dispatched to Kochi from Kalaburagi to facilitate the transfer. The body will be airlifted from Kochi to Hyderabad, and from there, it will be transported by ambulance to Sarasamba village.
