Mangaluru: Two arrested, drugs worth Rs 50,000 seized

Mangaluru: Continuing the crackdown on the narcotics trade, police officials arrested two individuals allegedly dealing in MDMA (Crystal) near Permude Panchayat Cross, about 15 kms from Mangaluru. 

The suspects, Umar Farooq (38) from Jokatte and Mohammad Abdul Junaid (34) from Jarinagar in Bajpe, were apprehended during the operation led by Bajpe Station PSI Revanasiddappa and his team.
The police seized 9.11 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 50,000, two mobile phones and a motorcycle.
The accused who were produced before the court were sent to Judicial Custody.
