Veteran Malayalam Actress Meena Ganesh Passes Away

Meena Ganesh was undergoing treatment at a private hospital following a stroke, said Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) general secretary B Unnikrishnan.

Meena Ganesh acted in over 200 films, 25 serials and several plays in her long acting career.

She made her debut in 1976 in PA Bakkar’s film Manimuzhakkam. Meena Ganesh's roles in films like Nandanam, Meeshamadhavan and Karumadikuttan attracted a lot of attention from the audience, FEFKA Directors Union said in a post on Facebook.

She is the wife of Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award winner and famous playwright and director N. N. Ganesh. Her son, Manoj Ganesh, is a famous serial director and FMTV Directors Union member, said the post.
