Laxman Criticizes Rahul Gandhi’s Silence on Attacks Against Hindus in Bangladesh
Hyderabad: BJP Parliamentary Board member and MP Dr K. Laxman expressed dismay over the silence of the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over the indiscriminate attacks on minority Hindus in trouble-torn Bangladesh. He also charged that Pakistan and China were involved in the increased attacks on minority Hindus in Bangladesh.
BJP MP D.K. Aruna also condemned the growing attacks on minority Hindus in Bangladesh. She appealed to people to extend their support to Hindus in Bangladesh. The attacks on Hindus is highly painful and all the parties in the country must collectively condemn such actions, she said.
Underlining the need for growth of all regions and all states in the country, Rajendar said any setback for Kashmir or Kerala, Manipur or Gujarat is a setback for the country.
Taking part in Independence Day celebrations at the state BJP office, Dr Laxman hoisted the National Flag and said that Rahul Gandhi had not condemned the attacks on Hindus. Besides some foreign elements, parties like Congress are working with a conspiracy to divide the country in the name of caste and religion.
He accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is giving shelter to Rohingyas and providing them Aadhaar cards to loot the nation. All Indians must work with unity and get prepared to fight against the divisive forces, Dr Laxman.
Earlier, he took part in a Tiranga rally out from Pingali Venkaiah statue at Tank Bund to the Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue, taken out by BJP OBC Morcha led by G. Anand Goud.
Taking part in Independence Day celebrations at an educational institution at Alwal, BJP Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar said that most of the students were aspiring to become engineers or doctors, But no one wanted to become a social scientist or a politician. If a politician fails, the entire society will collapse, he warned.
