Prakash Reddy to Head Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Limited

Hyderabad: N. Prakash Reddy has been appointed as the new managing director (MD) of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Limited. Prakash Reddy was earlier the director of the Directorate of Enforcement, Vigilance & Disaster Management (EVDM) within the GHMC.

During his tenure there, Prakash Reddy strengthened the Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams. He also held the positions of additional commissioner for both the advertisement and transport wings of the GHMC, where he made significant contributions to the departments.

K. Ramesh, the former MD of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation, was directed to report to the office of the Director-General of Police (HoPF). Ramesh was initially appointed to replace B. Manohar Rao.

Manohar Rao was suspended on November 17, 2023, following directives from the Election Commission of India (ECI). The suspension was a result of Rao accompanying former BRS tourism minister V. Srinivas Goud to Tirumala on November 16, which the ECI determined to be a violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
