Hyderabad: Revenue department officials have saved government land at Banjara Hills worth crores of rupees from encroachers.

According to the officials, Asha Developers installed temporary structures at 600 square yards of plot in MLA Colony, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. They also barricaded it in an attempt to encroach it.

“This land falls in TS No.1, Block J, Ward No. 12, correlated to Sy No. 102/p of Hakimpet village, Shaikpet mandal,” said the revenue department official.

The official further said that the land was long eyed by land sharks. The officials, however, razed the metal barricades on Tuesday using a heavy vehicle and also warned the encroachers of stringent action.
