Shamirpet Police Nab Duo for Jewelry Store Robbery

Hyderabad: The Shamirpet police apprehended two persons for a robbery at a jewellery store in Thumkunta on August 7, and seized 42 kg of silver and silver ornaments and 12 tolas of gold from them. A search is on for two others.

Four persons had broken into the jewellery store at about midnight of August 7 breaking open the shutter locks and stole precious ornaments. The burglary came to light in the morning when locals noticed the shutter broken and informed the shop owner about it.

Shamirpet police, along with the help of Alwal police, CCS officials analysed 300 CCTV cameras and tracked down the duo.
