Srisailam Reservoir Receives Significant Inflow, Holds 33.71 TMC Ft of Water

Kurnool: Thanks to inflow of water, the Srisailam reservoir now holds 33.71 thousand million cubic feet (tmc ft) of water as on Monday. The reservoir is receiving floodwater from the Sunkesula reservoir due to the recent rain. The full capacity of the Srisailam reservoir is 215.8 tmc ft. Water stood at 809 feet, against its full level of 885 ft. The Tungabhadra overflowed in the last week and the Rajolibanda diversion scheme in Kosigi mandal is running full.
