T-SAT to Air Bridge Course Lessons for School Students in State
Hyderabad: T-SAT will roll out bridge course lessons from Thursday in an attempt to address digital gaps among school students in the state.
“The bridge course classes will be held in Telugu, English, Urdu between June 20 and June 30 and regular classes will begin in July first week,” said T-SAT CEO Bodanapally Venugopal Reddy in a statement on Wednesday.
He further said that the students will be able to access digital classes to be telecast on the T-SAT Vidya Channel between June 20 and June 30 from 10 am to 4.05 pm barring Sundays.
The initiative is aimed at providing education via modern classroom technology for students from the state government schools. “The classes, with a duration of 30 minutes each, will begin with 3rd standard at 10 am and cover all standards until 4:05 pm," said Bodanapally Venugopal Reddy.
The digital lessons, covering mathematics, Hindi, English, science, among others, would be telecast for a duration of three hours each for a total of nine days.
The schedule for digital lessons, issued by the State Institute Of Educational Technology (Siet) has already been circulated to all schools.
The digital classes would help students gain additional insights apart from the regular offline classes, the CEO said.
He urged that the students and parents should utilise the digital resources in addition to the regular schedule for lessons, as issued by the department of School Education, Telangana, that will be announced next month.
