No cyclonic threat: Dy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin

Chennai: The government was prepared to tackle any cyclone or flood as it had the wherewithal to manage disasters, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said on Saturday.
Speaking after distributing assistance at his Chepauk constituency, Udhayanidhi Salin said there was no flood threat though many parts of the State received good rains in the last two days.
A review meeting on the situation would be held in the next two days, he said, adding that a slew of instructions were issued, particularly on desilting water bodies, in the earlier review meeting held a week ago.
