Chennai: The Tamil Chamber of Commerce (TCC) wished Chief Minister M K Stalin all success in attracting investments from the United States to Tamil Nadu, which would enhance the economic trade and industrial growth of the State, leading to enhanced employment opportunities, inclusive growth and social justice.

As the Chief Minister was all set to take an Emirates flight from Chennai on Tuesday late night to Dubai, from where he would flight out to San Francisco on Wednesday, TCC president, Chozhan Nachiar Rajasekar expressed the hope that Stalin’s visit would result in TESLA setting up a manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu.

Congratulating the State Industries Minister T R B Rajaa for confirming that 60 per cent of the Rs 6.664 crore investments committed by companies at the third Global Investors’ Meet in January, 2024, were actually made, Rajasekar said Stalin's present visit would ensure that companies that had not yet set up shop in the State would come in.
