Telangana Bar Council Raises Death Benefit for Advocates

Hyderabad: The Bar Council of Telangana has decided to increase the death claim of deceased advocates from Rs.4 lakh to Rs.6 lakh. A. Narasimha Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Bar Council, said that the enhancement will be payable to the nominees of advocates who passed away on or after July 1. Nagalakshmi, secretary, said the benefit will be applicable to advocates who are members of the State Welfare Fund, which is maintained by the Bar Council of Telangana.
