Telangana: TSSDC Chairman Urges Seed Awareness Among Farmers

Adilabad: Telangana State Seed Development Corporation (TSSDC) chairman S. Anvesh Reddy on Wednesday asked agriculture officials to reach out to farmers and create awareness among them about the seeds being manufactured and sold by the corporation. He said officials must create confidence among farmers about the quality of the seeds produced by the corporation.

He said officials concerned should make the farmers aware of the difference between seeds manufactured by the government and those by private companies.

Anvesh Reddy was addressing farmers at a meeting organized in the Nirmal town. He said efforts are being made to reduce the existing gap between farmers and seed corporations and soon they will clear the pending dues to farmers.

He said the state government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was committed to the welfare of farmers and added that they would take the suggestions from farmers to strengthen the corporation.
