ACB grills Irrigation AEE Nikesh Kumar in illegal assets case

Hyderabad:ACB officials on Thursday questioned irrigation AEE Herur Nikesh Kumar in connection with the alleged illegal assets case. They reportedly opened some of the 16 lockers belonging to Kumar and found gold ornaments.

Following court directions, the ACB officials on Thursday took custody of the accused officer from Cherlapally Central Prison and shifted him to the ACB office for questioning. The officials grilled him in connection with ‘mamools’ collected from the businessmen, realtors and individuals for issuing NoC to construct buildings at buffer zones and FTL areas in violation of rules as well as benami assets.
