Airport run saw record participation
Hyderabad: The fourth edition of the Hyderabad Airport Run, organised by GMR Hyderabad International Airport, saw a record 4,300 runners taking part in its 5K and 10K categories.
Themed “Run, Unwind and Njoy,” the event brought together people from the city and the airport community.
The run was flagged off by Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, along with other senior officials. The 5K run was open to men and women of all ages, while the 10K timed run had six categories based on age and gender such as 18-39 years, 40-59 years and 60 years and above.
After the run, the crowd attended a live performance by singer Nakash Aziz, known for his songs in the movie Pushpa. The event also featured fun activities like dance performances, flash mobs, nail art stalls, a flea market, a kids' play zone and food stalls.
