Hyderabad: An Andhra son-in-law, visiting Hyderabad for the first time after his marriage to celebrate the Sankranti festival, was left astounded by the hospitality of his in-laws. Kantri and Kalpana, a couple from Shardanagar near Saroor Nagar, prepared a grand feast with 130 varieties of dishes to delight their son-in-law from Kakinada.

The spread included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, along with pulihora, bagara, and various food items, offering him a true taste of Telangana cuisine.

Kranti and Kalpana's elder daughter married Mallikarjun from Kakinada just four months ago, and this feast was a special gesture to celebrate his first Sankranti with them.

It may be recalled that a family in Andhra Pradesh’s Eluru elevated served their son-in-law Buddha Muralidhar a whopping 379 dishes as a part of the Sankranthi feast on Sunday, January 15, last year.
