Hyderabad:BJP vice-president D.K. Aruna condemned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for his opposition to the One nation-One election (ONOE) proposal, stating that the Congress had made it a habit to oppose all the decisions taken by the NDA government at the Centre.

Claiming that ONOE was not a new idea and simultaneous elections would boost development, Aruna asked the Telangana Congress to support it. Undivided Andhra Pradesh had held simultaneous elections till 2014, she said and wondered why the Congress was worried about it now.

While taking part in the party membership drive in Sitaphalmandi and Boudhanagar under Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency limits, Aruna asked the BJP workers to intensify the drive in order to help the Narendra Modi government to achieve the dream of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
