Hyderabad: A severe outbreak of bird flu has killed 7,000 chickens at a poultry farm in Cherukupalli village, Kethepalli mandal, Nalgonda district.

Despite multiple treatments administered by zonal doctors from Hyderabad, the birds could not be saved.
In the aftermath, the farmer used a JCB to dig pits and bury the dead chickens. Estimating his financial losses at approximately Rs 3 lakh, he is now seeking compensation and support from the government and insurance companies.
