Nizamabad: Senior Congress MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy urged farmers to cultivate sugarcane on a large scale, highlighting the state government's decision to reopen the Nizam Sugar Factory (NSF) soon. He emphasised that the state government is committed to reviving the NSF and added that the Congress government is diligently fulfilling all its election promises.

On Sunday, Sudarshan Reddy laid the foundation stones for gram panchayat buildings in various thandas within Renjal mandal. Additionally, he distributed cheques for the Kalyana Laxmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes to beneficiaries at Renjal Rythu Vedika. Speaking at the event, the Bodhan MLA mentioned that technical issues had delayed the crop loan waiver for a few farmers.

Further, the Congress MLA accused the previous BRS government of encouraging irregularities among rice millers. “We are streamlining the situation by setting aside the defaulter rice millers,” he stated. Reddy also appealed to the public to elect honest candidates in local body elections to ensure good governance.
