BRS leaders stage rasta roko

Adilabad:BRS activists and second-rung leaders, led by former minister Jogu Ramanna, staged a rasta roko at the Bhoraj checkpost in Jainad on NH-44 on Saturday, protesting against the state government’s failure to implement Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema. The activists displayed placards highlighting the Congress party’s promises, including a pension of Rs 4,000 and one tola of gold under the Kalyana Laxmi scheme.
BRS leaders Narayana, Venkat Reddy, Narasingarao, and several others were present, while a large number of party activists — including women — participated in the rasta roko.
