Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police booked a case against the former Minister and BRS MLA Ch Malla Reddy and his son-in-law Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, who is also BRS MLA, for allegedly trying to grab land in Pet Basheerabad.

Based on a complaint lodged by a software engineer S Srinivas Reddy, the police registered the case against Malla Reddy, Rajasekhar Reddy and others for allegedly grabbing 32 guntas land in Pet Basheerabad and trying to demolish some structures in it.

The police booked the case against them under seven various provisions of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The Pet Basheerabad police, however, said it was an old case registered against the two MLAs and there is no further development in it.
