During his speech, Bandi Sanjay highlighted that the Centre launched the AMRUT-2 scheme with an allocation of ₹2.99 lakh crore to ensure an uninterrupted water supply to urban areas. As part of the AMRUT-1 and AMRUT-2 schemes, he noted that the Centre would be sanctioning ₹6,876 crore to Telangana.
The minister also mentioned plans to establish a temple circuit, connecting prominent temples in Kondagattu, Vemulawada, and Ellanthakunta, with efforts underway to secure special funding. He stated, “I have already spoken with the TTD chairman to secure funds for TTD temples in Karimnagar and am ready to offer full support for their development.”
Later, Bandi Sanjay visited Rajanna Sircilla district to inaugurate boating services at the Mid Manair Dam (MMD) reservoir in Varadavalli village, Boinapally mandal. Addressing the media, he questioned the Congress government about the status of the Comprehensive Family Survey (CFS) report, previously conducted by the BRS government to gather detailed demographic data on Telangana residents worldwide.
He pointed out that the survey collected extensive data, including caste, religion, income, and property details. “Since these details remain unchanged, why is the Congress government conducting a caste census again, and why has it not made the CFS data public?” he questioned.
He further criticised the KCR-led government, alleging that it misused public funds on the family survey. “If the Congress government is confident, it should recover this money from the KCR family members,” he asserted.
