Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep shock over the death of five youngsters in the Kondapochamma Sagar in Murkuk mandal of Siddipet district. He asked the district officials to personally review relief measures and extend all possible help to the family members of the deceased.

Union minister for coal and mines G. Kishan Reddy expressed dismay over the deaths. He spoke with the Siddipet police commissioner and asked him to take safety measures at the dam and restrict the movement of people near the water. Kishan Reddy also spoke with the family members of the deceased.

Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar expressed deep shock and expressed deep sympathy to the families of the deceased. He urged youth not to risk their lives to take selfies. He requested the government to support the families of the deceased.

Medak MP M. Raghunandan Rao expressed deep sympathy to bereaved family members. He urged the officials to take precautionary measures at Kondapochammasagar and other water bodies to restrict the movement of people.
