CM Revanth should focus on administration: Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad: Union minister and BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of not focusing on the state administration and spending away his time leveling accusations against the opponents.
Addressing the media in Delhi, the minister said, “The CM is answering questions on issues like Musi with personal attacks. Problems of women, youth, farmers, unemployed youth and the education sector have piled up. But the government is celebrating its anniversary with week-long events. We are holding statewide protests from December 1 to 5 to expose its failures.”
Kishan Reddy pointed out a series of recent issues. “The CM is looking the other way even as the students of residential schools are agitating. Two days back, a student named C. Shailaja died due to food poisoning in the Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district. The BRS and Congress have indulged in defections from each other, by flouting laws. The speaker is sitting on the issue and not deciding despite those who joined from the BRS contesting on the Congress ticket for MP elections.”
Talking about the Congress poll promises, he said, “The youth were cheated by the job calendar issued by Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy. The farmers were promised a Rs 500 bonus for 13 crops but it has been restricted to just fine varieties of paddy. The state government is not able to run the paddy purchase centres despite the centre bearing the cost of the entire exercise. Not a single ration card was issued in the last 11 months.”
About the Adani issue, Kishan Reddy averred that the violation of the US laws would be dealt with by the government there. Such issues are being racked up ahead of every parliament session. The BJP organisational elections will be completed and a new state president will be elected by the end of December, he informed.
