Cops Crack Case in 24 Hours, Recover Gold, Cash

Warangal: Police cracked a house burglary case within 24 hours, arresting the accused and recovering Rs 17.6 lakh worth of gold and silver ornaments along with Rs 8.9 lakh in cash. The incident occurred in Narasimhulapet mandal.

Superintendent of Police Sudheer Ramnath Kekan, addressing the media, identified the accused as Kotagiri Ravi (31), a resident of Narasimhulapet mandal. The investigation began following a complaint by victim Aranagi Sitaramulu (75), a private finance businessman, reporting the theft of valuables and cash from his house on Tuesday. The police found that Ravi, struggling financially and seeking a luxurious lifestyle, had broken into Sitaramulu’s house while it was unoccupied and committed the theft.

SP Kekan commended the police team for their swift action in solving the case.
