DA Case Booked Against Rangareddy District Additional Collector

Hyderabad: In one of its biggest operations in recent times, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday booked M. Venkata Bhoopal Reddy, additional collector, land revenue, Rangareddy district, for possessing disproportionate properties worth Rs 4,19,40,158 on Tuesday.

The total value of assets with the official was placed at Rs 5,05,71,676, from which the ACB calculated the disproportionate assets.

The ACB conducted searches at the residence of Bhoopal Reddy and four other places related to him, and found the assets as well as documents.

The value of the properties mentioned was as per documentation value and the actual value was far more higher in the open market. The case is under investigation, a press release issued by ACB stated.
