Delhi people feel guilty as AAP's liquor scam reached Telangana: Bandi
Speaking during election campaigns in support of BJP candidates in East Delhi Assembly constituency ahead of Wednesday’s Delhi polls, Sanjay accused the AAP of involvement in deep-rooted corruption;
Hyderabad: Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay said that the people of Delhi were ashamed of the liquor scam by AAP leaders that had reached Telangana. Sanjay referred to the alleged connections of BRS leader K. Kavitha with AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, and said they were jailed for their role in the scam.
Speaking during election campaigns in support of BJP candidates in East Delhi Assembly constituency ahead of Wednesday’s Delhi polls, Sanjay accused the AAP of involvement in deep-rooted corruption including in the Rs.28,400 crore Jal Board scam, Rs.4,500 crore buses purchase scam and another Rs.500 crore scam in the name of improving amenities in buses.
“Even after the court put pressure, Kejriwal hesitated to resign as Chief Minister which reflects his selfish and power-hungry politics. AAP leaders have cheated people of Delhi by promising to stay away from opulence and corruption, but indulged in all kinds of luxuries and corruption while in power,” Sanjay alleged.
