Hyderabad: Thangadipally Srinivas, a District Marketing Officer in Nirmal district, was caught red handed by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) when he allegedly demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.7,000 as bribe from the complainant.

Srinivas accepted for showing an official favour to issue weigh-man (dadval) license to the complainant. Initially, Srinivas demanded Rs.10.000 as a bribe from the complainant, but on the persistent requests of the complainant, he reduced the bribe amount to Rs.7.000.
