First Indo-Uzbek Pharma Business Forum Held in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The first Indo-Uzbek pharma business forum was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. It focused on trade and investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector between the two countries. The event was jointly organised by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan (PIDAU) , and Neo Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology.
Sardor M. Rustambaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to India, highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between India and Uzbekistan.
Abdulla Azizov, director of PIDAU, stressed on the current landscape and future prospects of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan.
Dr. Divya Raj, Indian representative of the ministry of health of Uzbekistan and managing director of Neo Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, stressed on fostering collaboration and innovation in pharma. Neo will PIDAU in India and assist it in securing investments from Indian pharmaceutical companies.
