Formula E Race Case: Telangana govt files caveat petition in SC

Hyderabad: Telangana state government on Tuesday filed a caveat petition in Supreme Court in connection with the Formula E Race case. A caveat will be filed to request that they be notified before any orders or judgments are made in a case. Former Minister KT Rama Rao may approach Supreme Court against HC orders on the quash petition.
The High Court on Tuesday dismissed KTR's petition seeking to quash the case registered by the Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with the Formula- E race.
The court was not inclined to extend the interim orders protecting him from arrest and also rejected his counsel's request to provide protection for one week from being arrested by the ACB.
