Hyderabad: The Telangana State Anti Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) arrested four customers of Xora Pub and Kitchen in Jubilee Hills on Sunday night after they tested positive for drugs during a raid following a tip-off. Eleven people were taken into custody.

In a related operation, police raided Olive Bistro pub in Madhapur but found no drugs. Narcotics DCP Narsing Rao stated that the four people had recently consumed drugs in Goa, which was detected in the tests.

This raid follows another recent crackdown two weeks ago at 'The Cave Pub', where 24 people were arrested for testing positive for drugs, leading to the pub’s closure and the arrest of its two owners, according to Raidurgam inspector Venkanna.

Authorities noted that drug tests can detect use up to 30 days for substances like ganja in regular users and up to 40 days for drugs like cocaine in regular users. Senior narcotics officers explained that detection periods vary based on drug type, usage frequency, and individual factors like metabolism and body fat.
