GHMC Vehicle Caught Dumping Garbage in Cherlapally

Hyderabad: A GHMC heavy vehicle, called the secondary collection and transport point (SCTP), which was meant to collect garbage from the transfer station and transport it to the Jawaharnagar dump yard was found to be dumping the trash at Adarshnagar, Cherlapally.

The vehicles are operated by Re Sustainability Limited (formerly Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd), according to an official of the GHMC sanitation wing.
As per norms, garbage from houses is collected by Swachh auto tippers (SATs) and piled up at transfer stations from where it is transported to Jawaharnagar by the heavy vehicles.
