Godse’s successors are ruling country: TPCC chief

WARANGAL: It is unfortunate that Godse’s successors are ruling the country, alleged Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud. Without any morals and respect for the constitution and democracy, the BJP is ruling the country, he said.

Accompanied by transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MLAs Naini Rajendar Reddy and K. R. Nagaraju, the TPCC chief offered prayers at Bhadrakali Devi temple during his first visit to Warangal after assuming charge as TPCC chief and later participated in a dharna against BJP leaders for making derogatory comments against the AICC leader Rahul Gandhi.

Mahesh Kumar alleged that BJP leaders Ranveer Bittu, Thanwinder Singh, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad are behaving like terrorists and are trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the country.

How can they make comments that Rahul Gandhi will also die like that of his grandmother Indira Gandhi. Did she die because of selfish gains or for property, are they not aware that she died in the hands of terrorists and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed his life for the sake of the country. What sacrifices did Modi and Amit Shash did for the country, he questioned.

Entire nation is looking up to Rahul Gandhi who has become powerful in recent times after the completion of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. In the coming elections in Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra, BJP and Shiv Sena are going to be washed out. In Haryana, the Congress is going to form the government.

Transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar came down heavily on the BJP leaders. He alleged that the BJP leaders must read Nehru’s Discovery of India. First woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi nationalised banks, prevented poverty with a slogan called Garibi Hatao and worked for the integration of the nation and sacrificed her life.

There is no comparison of BJP leaders with the Gandhi family who always strove for the uplift of weaker sections and sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Narendra Modi should take immediate action against the BJP leaders who are trying to create communal disputes with their comments. But he kept quiet and did not take any action against them.

At least BJP leaders of Telangana such as Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay and other MPs must explain to the people about their stand whether they are condemning the comments of BJP leaders, he demanded.
