Hyderabad: Kalapather police arrested one Zakiya Sultana on Tuesday for allegedly stealing gold ornaments worth Rs.3.2 lakh from a house in Ramnasthpura on December 14. The complainant, Mohd Yaqoob Qureshi, said he had returned home and found his bedroom almirah broken open and gold ornaments missing. Zakiya Sultana confessed that she was aided by a person named Mohd Abdul Saleem, who is on the run. The arrests were made by inspector Mohd Asif and sub-inspectors Srinivasulu and Shaik Saleem.

Three Arrested in Fake Land Deals in Hayathnagar

Hyderabad: The Hayathnagar police on Tuesday arrested three persons for forging documents and cheating people with land deals. Hayathnagar police station limits. The accused allegedly identified plots that were not registered for a long time and made forged documents of CC copies of the plots to deceive people.

According to inspector P. Nagaraju Goud, the accused were identified as Deepla Nayak, Kitawat Pool Singh, and Rangaiah. Shown as absconding were Niradar Maruti, Swami Naik Rangaiah, Biradar Maruti, Swamy Naik and Rakesh Naik.
